Brand: Ecooda

Developed through four years of refinement, the Ecooda Cyan Blue is a comprehensive saltwater lure rod series designed for Australian boat, estuary, rock and shore-based fishing.

The range includes spinning and baitcasting models from 2.13 m to 3.35 m, covering light inshore lure work, boat casting, vertical jigging and long-range shore casting. The refined blank action follows the movement of a hooked fish more naturally, helping maintain line tension and reduce the risk of pulled hooks during sudden runs, head shakes and airborne fights.

Built with Toray 30T carbon and Kevlar reinforcement, the blank combines sensitivity, controlled flexibility and dependable lifting strength. Fuji Alconite guides, Fuji reel seats and high-density EVA grips complete a versatile rod range suitable for demanding saltwater conditions.

Model Categories

Universal Boat Models

Compact, lightweight models designed for boat fishing, vertical jigging and working heavier rigs in deeper water.

Choose these models for snapper, reef fish, kingfish and general offshore lure fishing.

Powerful Boat-Casting Models

Stronger blanks with additional lifting power for shallow reefs, hard-fighting fish and repeated casting from a boat.

Available in both spinning and baitcasting configurations.

Boat and Shore Models

Longer, versatile rods that balance casting distance with manageable boat performance. Suitable for estuaries, harbours, jetties and light coastal fishing.

Light Shore-Casting Models

Longer rods designed for accurate casting with lighter lures. Suitable for beaches, rocks, breakwalls and shore-based lure fishing.

Heavy Shore-Casting Models

Powerful long-range rods for deep water, offshore reefs and demanding shore-based applications. Suitable for metal lures, larger soft plastics and stronger pelagic or reef species.

How to Choose

M Power — Orange Trim

Best for lighter lures, finesse presentations and general inshore fishing.

MH Power — Silver Trim

A versatile middleweight option for larger soft plastics, hardbody lures and medium-strength saltwater species.

H Power — Blue Trim

Designed for heavier lures, stronger current and powerful fish around reefs or coastal structure.

SH Power — Gold Trim

The strongest option for demanding boat casting, heavier tackle and hard-fighting offshore species.

How to Use

Match the rod’s lure rating and PE line class to the lure, target species and fishing environment.

For boat fishing, use the shorter models for jigging, bottom fishing and controlled casting around reefs. Longer models provide increased casting distance from beaches, rocks and breakwalls.

Allow the blank to load smoothly during the cast. When fighting a fish, maintain a stable rod angle and let the progressive action absorb sudden runs and head shakes. Avoid high-sticking or lifting fish vertically with the rod tip.
