The EWE Silver Blade Overhead II S-80S is an 80 mm, 15 g sinking minnow engineered for long, stable casts and an animated fluttering descent. Its compact profile and tungsten fixed weight help it cut through coastal wind, while the foldable front lip and patented integrated rear lip support stable flight and lively swimming action.

Key features

• Front foldable lip reduces air resistance during the cast.
• Heavy-duty tungsten fixed weight and streamlined body deliver excellent casting distance and directional stability.
• Integrated rear lip generates lift during the retrieve, slows the sink and increases fluttering action on the drop.
• Low centre of gravity helps the lure track steadily while maintaining a lively swimming action.
• Fitted with BKK × EWE Extreme Sting 3.5X treble hooks in size 8.

Australian fishing applications

Built for searching open water from beaches, headlands, rock walls, breakwalls and estuary banks. Its stable flight is especially useful when casting across a breeze, while the controlled sinking action lets anglers work wash zones, current lines, gutters and deeper edges.

Target species

Suitable for tailor, Australian salmon, trevally, flathead and other inshore predators that respond to a compact baitfish presentation.

How to use

Cast long, allow the lure to sink to the required level, then retrieve steadily to activate its swimming action. Add short twitches and pauses to create directional changes and a fluttering drop. In current or wash, maintain enough line contact to feel the lure while letting it hold naturally in the strike zone.
