Loong SW-Jigging X8 is a multicolour eight-carrier PE braid developed for vertical jigging and demanding offshore use. Its fine, round profile and higher specific gravity are designed to cut through the water efficiently, helping jigs reach the working depth with controlled line management.

Australian conditions and target species

Well suited to vertical and mechanical jigging around reefs, pinnacles, drop-offs and current lines. Depending on line class and tackle selection, suitable targets include snapper, kingfish, amberjack and other hard-fighting offshore species.

How to use

1. Choose the PE class to suit the rod, reel, jig weight, depth, current and expected drag pressure.
2. Spool under firm, even tension and connect a suitable abrasion-resistant leader.
3. Use each 10 m colour change and yellow interval marker as a visual guide when deploying or retrieving the jig.
4. Rinse the line and reel with fresh water after saltwater use and store away from direct sunlight.
