The Lurefans Lamdou Double Hook is a compact sinking metal jig with a baitfish profile, asymmetric body and tuned centre of gravity. The 22 g and 25 g sizes are suited to longer casts and fishing deeper water or stronger current than the lighter Lamdou models.

Key features

• Compact baitfish profile with a detailed open-mouth head shape
• Asymmetric metal body for flash and varied movement on the lift and fall
• Tuned centre of gravity for stable casting
• Feather-dressed assist hook with X8 PE assist cord
• Rear treble hook for a two-hook configuration
• Sinking action for covering different parts of the water column
• Five lures per pack

Australian conditions and target species

Well suited to freshwater and light-estuary fishing from the bank, kayak or boat. Suitable targets include Australian bass, redfin, trout, bream, flathead and tailor where a compact baitfish presentation is effective.

How to fish it

1. Cast beyond the target area and allow the jig to sink to the required depth.
2. Work it with short lifts and controlled drops, or use a steady retrieve with occasional pauses.
3. Choose 22 g for a slightly lighter presentation, or 25 g when extra weight helps with depth, wind or current.
