Details

The MIZUCHI Speed Drop is an asymmetrical metal jig for saltwater lure fishing in moving water. Its shaped sides create an attractive falling action, while rearward weighting supports stable flight and distance casting, including in windy conditions. The responsive body suits shore jigging and light boat jigging.

How to fish it

Cast across the area or drop to the chosen depth, then combine short lifts with pauses to work both the retrieve and the fall. Increase the jig weight when current or depth prevents you from keeping contact. MIZUCHI reports field testing with species including kingfish, grouper, queenfish and emperor.
