The Shimano Sephia Clinch Flash Boost 2.5 is a compact egi squid jig made for shallow water, pressured squid and finesse eging around harbour lights, weed edges, rock ledges and calm inshore structure. At 10 g with a slower reference sink rate of about 4 seconds per metre, the 2.5 size gives anglers extra hang time when squid are cautious or sitting higher in the water.

Shimano's Flash Boost system suspends a reflective foil panel on micro springs inside the lure body, creating a continuous flash even while the jig is paused. That little internal shimmer is especially useful in eging because squid often follow, inspect and strike during the pause rather than only during the lift.

The Sephia Clinch body also uses Shimano's Scale Boost finish to create more natural light reflection through the water. Choose the 2.5 size for finicky squid, clear water, light tackle, shallow flats and situations where a slower, more subtle presentation gets more touches.
